Children in No Man’s Land begins its education tour with screenings in October at University of Connecticut Human Rights Institute, University of Utah in Salt Lake City and a two-day symposium on immigration and the border at University of San Diego.

Children in No Man’s Land screens at the United Nations Association Film Festival on October 21st in Palo Alto, CA.

The film is also screening at Muestra Internacional de Cine y Derechos Humanos (International Human Rights Festival) in Spain and the South Bronx Film Festival in New York City.

September 2008
Children in No Man’s Land is accepted by New Day Films for distribution.

The Fledgling Fund awards a grant to fund the border outreach campaign for Children in No Man’s Land.

On September 27th, Working Films and filmmaker Anayansi Prado hold an outreach stragedy summit in Tucson, Arizona, with leading organizations in the fight for immigration reform and border issues to discuss ways to use Children in No Man’s Land as a tool for activism and change.

Children in No Man’s Land has its L.A. premiere at the Los Angeles International Latino Film Festival on September 14th.
